It's 3 p.m. You've read the same email four times. Your heart is racing. Your hands are shaky. And you just realized you never ate lunch. You slept nine hours and still woke up exhausted. And your doctor says your labs are normal.
You're Not Imagining This
What you're feeling is real. POTS isn't just a fast heart rate. It affects how your body handles blood flow, breathing, and digestion. When those systems struggle, you feel it everywhere. The brain fog. The crashes. The shaking when you skip a meal.
There's a reason it happens. And there are things you can do about it.
I've Been on the Bathroom Floor Too
I'm Jen. In 2017, I was passing out every day. I hid under my desk to rest and threw up in gym locker rooms. I blamed it on 60-hour work weeks. So did the EMT who told me I collapsed because I worked too much.
I kept digging until I got answers: POTS, EDS, MCAS, and May-Thurner Syndrome. I rebuilt my life. Then perimenopause hit in 2024 and brought it all back, harder. So I rebuilt again.
Today my POTS is well managed. I know how to stop a flare before it takes over my week. I bring 30+ years in fitness, studio ownership, and training as a Certified Client Change Coach and through the POTS Providers Course. Doctors, a psychologist, and a physical therapist have referred their patients to me for help with the day-to-day.
What We Work On Together
Know what to do when things get worse. We build an action plan for the days you feel awful, so you feel more in control. You'll know which signs to watch and when it's time to call your doctor.
Find your triggers. Food, chemicals, stress, poor sleep, and even viruses can set off symptoms. We figure out which ones are yours. Then we work on how to avoid them, or cope when you can't.
Eat and move in a way that helps. "Just eat healthy and exercise more" isn't the answer. Some things need to be steadier before exercise helps instead of hurts. We get those in place first. Then we build up slowly.
Understand what's happening in your body. POTS is complicated. There are different types, and there's often something underneath driving it. I'll explain it in plain language so it finally makes sense.
Understand your medication options. "What meds should I be on?" is one of the biggest questions I get. I don't prescribe, but I can walk you through the medications commonly used for POTS, EDS, and MCAS. You'll learn what each one is for and how it's typically used. Then you'll walk into your appointment ready to ask about options and dosing, and decide with your doctor what's right for you.
Maneuver through the medical system. Getting answers can feel like a maze. I'll help you figure out which doctors to see and what order makes sense. Then I'll help you prepare for every visit. You'll know what to bring, what to ask, and how to speak up so your concerns aren't brushed off. When you need a specialist or another resource, I'll help you find one.
Build skills for everyday life. Small changes can make a big difference. I'll share the life hacks and tools that make daily life easier on your body. Think shower chairs, prepping water before bed, and ways to sit instead of stand. In the kitchen, you'll learn simple cooking skills and shortcuts that make eating well doable on low-energy days. We'll also work on pacing and better sleep, so you save energy for what matters to you.
Feel less alone. Chronic illness is isolating. Our calls are a place to vent, be honest, and get real support. I'll keep you going when it feels like nothing is changing.
How We Work Together
We collaborate to build realistic, actionable plans that are personalized to you. They fit your body, your schedule, and your bad days. Together, we close the gap between you and your medical team.
After each call, you get one or two small habits. Every habit has a flare-day version. A bad day never erases your progress.
A Little Extra Relief
Your personalized POTS Warriors Flare Bag means you're not scrambling when symptoms hit in the car line. Your personalized medical card means you don't have to explain everything from scratch while you're dizzy. Monthly recipes take one decision off your plate. Our private Facebook community means you're not doing this alone. And a Discounted Fullscript account gives you wholesale pricing on supplements.
"I've Already Spent Money on Things That Didn't Help"
That makes sense. Maybe it was supplements that sat in a drawer. Or a coach who told you to push harder. Or copay after copay for appointments that ended with "your labs look normal."
Most POTS care is one-size-fits-all. Your plan is built around your body, your symptoms, and your real life. I've lived with POTS, so I know why "just work out more" backfires.
I'm not your doctor, and I'm not here to replace them. Doctor visits are short. Our calls are a full hour, and the whole time is about you. Your doctors give you the diagnosis. I help you live with it every day in between.
I don't promise a cure. I promise a better baseline, flares you can handle, and a plan that's yours.
What If I Flare Mid-Program?
You probably will. That's expected. Setbacks are part of the design. If you're flaring on call day, we can still meet. Camera off, lying down. If something knocks you off track, we figure out what happened and get you back on course. Nothing you've built goes away.
Let's Just Talk
If you're tired of hearing that you're fine, let's have a real conversation. Book a free 30-minute discovery call. Tell me what's going on. I'll share how I can help, and you decide what feels right.
No pressure. No pitch.
